However, I have found the Kindle App on my I-pad useful when we've had power outages. Backlighting definitely comes into its own then.Alexhttp://thinkinginfragments.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1246220242273461143.post-66316557783088851092012-11-04T23:13:31.222+00:002012-11-04T23:13:31.222+00:00I don't like backlighting, so I'll always ...I don't like backlighting, so I'll always prefer my eInk Nook to a tablet.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01974988315420539840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1246220242273461143.post-47166455901144624702012-11-04T15:02:56.710+00:002012-11-04T15:02:56.710+00:00Hahaha, this is why I try never to be an early ado...Hahaha, this is why I try never to be an early adopter of technologies. I hope it's not the death of the e-reader, because I am awfully fond of my Nook. And I agree with you -- I like having a dedicated e-reader, and I don't want to replace it with a tablet. It's good being away from the internet sometimes, you know?Jennyhttp://jennysbooks.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1246220242273461143.post-68218757847288237962012-11-04T06:37:32.551+00:002012-11-04T06:37:32.551+00:00I'm on the other side of this argument. I have countless mini-discs from my time in Japan - I was ahead of my time (until digital music appeared...).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07546287562521628467noreply@blogger.com
