In the last year I've read more books for review purposes - and so I've been reading more books outside of my normal comfort zone. The result is that I’ve read fewer books that I’ve personally LOVED, but I’ve read several books I’d cheerfully recommend to friends because I know they will love them. I think that comes with the territory of being a book blogger versus a reader. A book blogger has to be willing to take a chance on a dark horse – which may or may not pay off in the end (and to varying degrees). A reader can stick with the specific author or genre that excites them because it isn’t necessary to have points of reference/basis for comparison.tolmsted (BookSexy Review)http://booksexyreview.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1246220242273461143.post-22105567607297976762010-06-13T14:38:41.132+01:002010-06-13T14:38:41.132+01:00I think maybe sometimes the books one is reading j...I think maybe sometimes the books one is reading just go through phases. Perhaps you should think about abandoning reads that really aren't doing it for you.Thomas Hogglestockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14284352537015457974noreply@blogger.com
