Fads in cyberspace

While William Gibson is best known for coining the term "cyberspace", he should (in my mind) really be remembered for predicting our modern internet culture, as is evidenced by the above quote...

  1. I bought Neuromancer, as yet unread, but that quote strikes me as well. Who knew there would be such a thing as cyberspace, let alone how big an effect it would have (whether it lasted for long, or not)? Sometimes, truthfully, I want to turn back to the way I lived before, much as I enjoy such a thing as blogging...
